It has come to our attention over recent weeks that several malicious and unfounded rumours have been circulating about Daxlore Dezi.

It is being claimed that Dezi is infertile and that he is not the sire of a litter born to Daxlore Bashira in April 2009.

As a result of this claim, Dezi (identified by his registered tattoo number) was sperm tested on 11th October and a veterinary certificate was obtained stating that he is fertile, with normal sperm mobility and with no morphological abnormalities.

DNA tests will show that Dezi is indeed the father of the litter, which includes Daxlore Bashra and Daxlore Bisou, born 30th April 2009.

Given the damage to the reputation of the Daxlore kennel and to our personal integity, we have been obliged to seek legal advice regarding the action to be taken against the person known to be the source of the rumours. Similar action will be taken against other parties found to be circulating and/or elaborating the above damaging allegations.

Daxlore Danarius, Best Junior in Show (3)

Daxlore Danarius, owned by Ricardo Oliveira, was awarded Excellent, Ist Junior Saluki Dog, Best Junior Saluki at the 115th Lisbon International (Winners') Show on 12th July by Mr Geert Jipping (NL) who said of him:
"Lovely dog. Moves with attitude. Very nice head and expression. Good neck, body and topline. Well presented".
Danarius was also awarded Best Junior in Show (3) by Mrs Ann Joe Sampaio (BR).

Daxlore Yanis was placed third in Open Dog at the 116th Lisbon International Show on 12th July by Per Iversen (N) whose report stated: "Good type with the correct proportions Excellent head and correct expression. Correct chest and angulations. Moves very well".

La Rochelle International Show

Daxlore D'Elyxir, owned by Dorine Dulain, was awarded Excellent, First Junior Saluki bitch and Best Saluki Junior at La Rochelle International Show on 20th June at the age of 13 months.
The judge, Mr Bernard Barjot, said of her:
"Good head proportions and expression, correct pigmentation and neck. Good top and under lines, good front and rear angulation. The tail could perhaps be longer, light movement in profile, but tending to lift the elbows".

Daxlore Bashra at Shamilah, owned by Isabelle Aubouer, was awarded Excellent and Ist Junior Dog. Mr Barjot said of him:
" 13 months. Beautiful well proportioned exhibit. Excellent masculine head and ear carriage. Correct neck and underline. Chest correct for his age, very good angulation front and rear. Good length of tail. Very good movement".

Daxlore Bisou of Shaybani was awarded Best Saluki and Group 2 at Onda XIX Expo International and XXII Expo National Provincia di Castello (13th June) at the age of 13 months by Arturo Sanchez Guijarro who commented on her excellent topline and well proportioned head, correct angulation and tail set.

Daxlore D'Elixyr, owned by Dorine Dulain, was awarded Excellent and Best Junior Saluki at Tours Show on 23rd May.

The judge, Mr Piau, said in his report:

"Excellent proportions, pretty feminine head, excellent pigmentation, excellent neck, chest needs to deepen, good width of ribcage, excellent angulation front and rear, excellent musculature, excellent movement".

Elixyr went on to be placed first Group 10 Junior and Best Junior in Show 3.

Daxlore Basra at Shamilah, owned by Isabelle Aubouer was awarded Excellent, First Junior Saluki Dog and Best Junior by Mr Magnus Hagstedt of Sweden at Toulouse International Show on 8th May.

In his report M Hagstedt said of Bashra; "Tall, upstanding. Correct proportions. Masculine head and expression. Excellent body.Chest not yet developed but correct for his young age. Correct topline. Excellent forearm. Elegant side action, very good coming and going. Excelllent presentation".

On 2nd May she won her 50th Best of Breed and Hound Group 3 at Hartlepool under Trevor Jepson .

At Limoges Int Show on 10th April, Daxlore Taraman was the only Saluki puppy. The judge, Madame MJ Beletout,who awarded him Very Promising, said of him in her report.

"An excellent subject with magificent head and beautiful expression, well placed and well feathered ears. Excellent forequarters, good rear angulation. Moved well coming and going with good side action".

Daxlore Bashra at Shamilah, owned by Isabelle Aubouer, was Best Saluki Junior and Junior Group 4 winer at Limoges International Ch Show, France on 10th April.

Judge Madame M-J Beletout said of him in her report:

"Magnificent subject, of required breed type. Good neck with an excellent head and pigmentation. Well made feet with excellent angulation of limbs. Attractive colouring, moved well coming and going and good side action".

The judge, Mrs Carmen Gil Polo (Spain) graded him as Excellent and in her report said of him:

At Caldas da Rainha, Portugal on March 28th, Daxlore Danarius, owned by Ricardo Oliveira, was presented for the first time in a Junior Class at the age of 11 months. He was assessed as Excellent by judge Mrs Carmen Gil Polo of Spain, who awarded him 1st Junior Saluki and Best of Breed and later Group 2. Danarius was also shortlisted for Best Male Junior in Show.

Mrs Polo reported that Danarius was of "good type with good head and top line, excellent front and rear angulations and good movement".

Daxlore Taraman (Aziz Barakat Daxlore x Daxlore Desiree) was described as Very Promising and very elegant by Hungarian judge Mr Peter Harsanyi who awarded him Best Saluki Puppy and Best Puppy in Group at his first show aged just 6 months.

Daxlore Bisou of Shaybani, owned by Elaine Sydney, was Best Junior Saluki.

Ch Aziz Qesas Daxlore was awarded First Open Bitch CAC, CACIB and Best of Breed.

Daxlore Yanar ,owned by Francesca Zampini and handled by Patrizio Palliani, shown here beside Ch Daxlore Amir of Fernlark, was awarded second in Open Dog (13 entries) by Mr Arthur Spencer-Bolland at Crufts 2010 on 13th March.

In his report, the judge said of him

"Dignified, lovely temperament. Superb head, dark pigmentation. Soft fine coat, good reach of neck flowing into well placed shoulder. Deep chest, moderately narrow. Fairly broad back. Straight long forelegs. Well bent stifles. Typical feet".

Daxlore Khiram was placed reserve (4th) in Postgraduate dog (16 entries).

Crufts 2010: Daxlore Daania

Daxlore Daania, owned by Gloria Cook and Alan Burtenshaw and handled by Patrizio Palliani, was awarded first prize in Postgraduate Bitch (16 entries) by Mr Arthur Spencer-Bolland at Crufts 2010 on 13th March.

In his report, the judge said of her:

"Reminiscent of the old type Daxlore going back to the sixties. Dark pigmentation, powerful foreface. Long reach of neck. Deep chest. Good spring of rib. Moderately cast. Strong sound topline. Gentle slope to croup. Moderate quarters. Extremely well presented and moved well".

Daxlore Yanar delighted his owner Francesca Zampini and handler Patrizio Palliani by winning the CAC CACIB amd BOB at Arezzo and Firenze International Dog Show on 14th February under judge Saija Juutilainen from Finland.

In her report she wrote:"Young male with excellent proportions and lines. Correct bones and in wonderful muscle condition. Very nice rib cage, long head, muzzle strong enough.Correct bite, nice expression and ears. Excellent topline, nicely set long tail, excellent long feet. Still just a little bit loose in front. Nicley angulated behind. Moves easily around. Nicely carried head and tail. Nice coat quality."

Yanar was also awarded Group 3 by the Italian judge.

Daxlore Bashra at Shamilah, owned by Isabelle Aubouer, was awarded First place and Excellent in the young Saluki dog class in his first junior class at the age of just 9 1/2 months, at Niort International Show on 14th February by judge Mr M Coppel of France.

He was also awarded Best Young (Junior) Saluki and was placed third in the Young (Junior) Group.

Mr Coppel said of him in his report: "Very nicely put together subject who needs to develop a little more depth of chest. Very good head and neck, top- and underlines, still needs to develop spring of rib, excellent front and rear angulation, excellent tail, very good feet and movement coming and going, side action still has to settle".

Daxlore Yanar (Daxlore Dezi x Ch Aziz Qesas Daxlore) was awarded CAC, CACIB and BOB at Milan International Dog Show on 24th January by judge Lotta Brun.

Daxlore Khiram (Daxlore Dezi x Daxlore Carima) was awarded RCAC and qualified for Crufts 2011.

Both are proudly owned by Francesca Zampini.
