Daxlore Bisou of Shaybani, owned by Elaine Sydney, was awarded 1st Intermedieate Saluki Bitch and CAC at the 59th Exposicion Nacional Canina de Valencia on the 18th December by judge Piscual Asensi Peinado of Spain.

Bisou now has 5CACS and 2CACIB to her credit.

Daxlore D'Elyxir, owned by Dorine Dulain, was awarded CACs and RCACIB at Nantes International Show on 12th December by Mr Oates (Ireland).

The judge said of her in his report " Nice female, well-balanced, pleasing head, dark oval eyes, good bite, strong neck, good front, nice level topline, well developed hindquarters, moved very well."

Daxlore Bisou of Shaybani, (right) owned by Elaine Sydney, attended the XXI National Exposicion Canina de Murcia on Saturday 6th November and was awarded Excellent, 1st intermediate Saluki Bitch and CAC by Russian judge Blaz Kavcic.

On Sunday 7th November at the XXII International Exposicion Canina de Murcia, she was awarded Excellent, 1st Intermediate Saluki Bitch, CAC and CACIB by Spanish judge Jose Vidal.

Daxlore Dezi

It has come to our attention over recent weeks that several malicious and unfounded rumours have been circulating about Daxlore Dezi.

It is being claimed that Dezi is infertile and that he is not the sire of a litter born to Daxlore Bashira in April 2009.

As a result of this claim, Dezi (identified by his registered tattoo number) was sperm tested on 11th October and a veterinary certificate was obtained stating that he is fertile, with normal sperm mobility and with no morphological abnormalities.

DNA tests will show that Dezi is indeed the father of the litter, which includes Daxlore Bashra and Daxlore Bisou, born 30th April 2009.

Given the damage to the reputation of the Daxlore kennel and to our personal integity, we have been obliged to seek legal advice regarding the action to be taken against the person known to be the source of the rumours. Similar action will be taken against other parties found to be circulating and/or elaborating the above damaging allegations.

UK judge Denise Courtney , who awarded Bisou Ist Junior Saluki Bitch at the City of Birmingham Championship Show, said of her (Our Dogs 22nd October):
" Lovely young lady who was impressive on the move. Beautiful head with gentle expression. Elegant neck of good length, nice layback of shoulder. Good topline, and underline. Looked balanced stood and on the move. Beautifully presented and handled".

Daxlore Bashra at Shamilah,owned by Isabelle Aubouer, gained Ist Excellent intermediate Saluki at Orleans International Show on Sunday 10th October under Sade Hohteri (Finland) who said of him in her report:" Very nice tall dog, beautiful lines, excellent head and expression, nice neck, very good quarters, nice topline, good body for age, very nice movement, light gait".

Daxlore Daania at Dandaazi, owned by Gloria Cook and Alan Burtenshaw, won Postgraduate Bitch at Darlington Championship Show on 17th September under judge Avryl Davies.

Daxlore Bashra at Shamilah,owned by Isabelle Aubouer, was awarded Ist Intermediate Saluki, CAC and RCACIB by Mrs Delerue of Portugal, judge of the Saluki Specialty at Pontoise International Show on 12th September at the age of 16 months.

She said of him:
Typical construction, correct head, good neck, good topline, good chest for his age, correct balance, well angulated, good movement. Typical coat".

• Best Saluki Junior, Group 10

• Best in Group 3.

Saluki breed judge, Mme Desserne, wrote in her report:
"Very attractive subject, beautiful head and expression and beautiful eyes.Good jaw, good shoulder and angulation, excellent chest for her age, excellent length of loin,attractive, distinguished gait, a little wide in rear".

Bisou also won Junior Saluki Bitch at Leeds Championship Show on 25th July under judge Brian Henry, whose report stated:"Lightly built grizzle. Beautiful head and excellent furnishings, bladed bone and best of feet. Excels in many department, giving smooth flowing movement with extension and power of hind action; width between shoulders and pin bones correct."

Daxlore Bashra at Shamilah, owned by Isabelle Aubouer, was awarded Ist, Exc, RCAC and RCACIB at Macon International Show on 4th September by judge Mme Larive (France) at the age of just 16 months.

The judge said of him:
"Excellent type and expression. Very attractive head. Complete dentition. Excellent eye and ears. Excellent overall construction. Excellent bone and angulation and excellent composure. Very good tail, well set and with very good length. Excellent style and superb movement. Excellent presentation".

Daxlore Danarius was awarded Excellent, Best Junior Saluki and Best Opposite Sex by Paola Watten (Italy) at Estoril International Show on 22n August.

Estorial National Show 21st August

Daxlore Yanis, owned by Ricardo Oliveira, was awarded his sixth CAC and Best Opposite Sex by Jonathan Horswell (UK) at Estorial National Show on 21st August.

Daxlore Delphi aged 15 months, owned by Christine Lessard in Canada, has achieved the following successes:

Christine's daughter, Maude, has also achieved success in Junior Handling competitions, being placed first, third and fifth at different shows.

Daxlore Dior, making his show debut at 15 months of age under Mr JJ Dupas, was awarded Excellent, CACs and Best of Breed. The judge said of him:" Attractive specimen of good type without exaggeration. Attractive head with good ear placement, good neck and very good front. Excellent topline and good chest. Superb forearm with very easy movement".

Sorges-en-Perigord

Daxlore Taraq made his show debut aged just 11 months at Sorges on 8th August and was awarded Excellent, and Best Junior Saluki by Mr JJ Dupas whose report stated:
"Very attractive and elegant. Good head and earset, very good rear profile, very free and elegant movement".

He later was awarded Best Junior Group 2.

At the Championat de France, La Rochelle, Daxlore Bashra at Shamilah, owned by Isabelle Aubouer, was awarded Best Junior Saluki Dog by French judge, Mr Bernard Barjot.

At Sintra International on 25th July, Daxlore Danarius, owned by Ricardo Oliveira, was awarded Best Junior Saluki by Mr Gert Christiansen (DK) whose critique stated:
" Long masculine head. Nice eyes. Good neck and topline. Excellent body, well proportioned. Moves well. Nice temperament"

Daxlore Yanis

On 24th July Daxlore Yanis owned by Ricardo Oliveira gained his fifth CAC at the 29th Sintra National Show and was awarded Best Opposite Sex by Mr Zeferino Silva (PT) who wrote of him:
"Typical. Well proportioned. Correct head. Good angulations. Enough chest. Correct top line. Good tail insertion. Moves correctly but could have better pace". Excellent, 1st Open Saluki Dog.

Daxlore Danarius, owned by Ricardo Oliveira, was awarded Excellent, Ist Junior Saluki Dog, Best Junior Saluki at the 115th Lisbon International (Winners') Show on 12th July by Mr Geert Jipping (NL) who said of him:
"Lovely dog. Moves with attitude. Very nice head and expression. Good neck, body and topline. Well presented".
Danarius was also awarded Best Junior in Show (3) by Mrs Ann Joe Sampaio (BR).

Daxlore Yanis was placed third in Open Dog at the 116th Lisbon International Show on 12th July by Per Iversen (N) whose report stated: "Good type with the correct proportions Excellent head and correct expression. Correct chest and angulations. Moves very well".

La Rochelle International Show

Daxlore D'Elyxir, owned by Dorine Dulain, was awarded Excellent, First Junior Saluki bitch and Best Saluki Junior at La Rochelle International Show on 20th June at the age of 13 months.
The judge, Mr Bernard Barjot, said of her:
"Good head proportions and expression, correct pigmentation and neck. Good top and under lines, good front and rear angulation. The tail could perhaps be longer, light movement in profile, but tending to lift the elbows".

" 13 months. Beautiful well proportioned exhibit. Excellent masculine head and ear carriage. Correct neck and underline. Chest correct for his age, very good angulation front and rear. Good length of tail. Very good movement".

Daxlore Bisou of Shaybani was awarded Best Saluki and Group 2 at Onda XIX Expo International and XXII Expo National Provincia di Castello (13th June) at the age of 13 months by Arturo Sanchez Guijarro who commented on her excellent topline and well proportioned head, correct angulation and tail set.

Daxlore D'Elixyr, owned by Dorine Dulain, was awarded Excellent and Best Junior Saluki at Tours Show on 23rd May.

The judge, Mr Piau, said in his report:

"Excellent proportions, pretty feminine head, excellent pigmentation, excellent neck, chest needs to deepen, good width of ribcage, excellent angulation front and rear, excellent musculature, excellent movement".

Elixyr went on to be placed first Group 10 Junior and Best Junior in Show 3.

Daxlore Basra at Shamilah, owned by Isabelle Aubouer was awarded Excellent, First Junior Saluki Dog and Best Junior by Mr Magnus Hagstedt of Sweden at Toulouse International Show on 8th May.

In his report M Hagstedt said of Bashra; "Tall, upstanding. Correct proportions. Masculine head and expression. Excellent body.Chest not yet developed but correct for his young age. Correct topline. Excellent forearm. Elegant side action, very good coming and going. Excelllent presentation".

Daxlore Daania, owned by Alan Burtenshaw and Gloria Cook and handled by Luke Johnson, was Best of Breed under Miss Battersby and also won the Hound Group under Mr P Worsley at Saltburn Canine Show on 9th May.

International title for Daxlore Yanar

Daxlore Yanar owned by Francesca Zampini (Italy) was awarded CAC, CACIB and Best of Breed at Zadar International Show, Hungary on 2nd May by judge J. Jipping of the Netherlands. This award qualifies Yanar for the title of International Champion.

Daxlore Khiram owned by Francesca Zampini (Italy) was awarded CAC CACIB and Best of Breed at Zadar International Show Hungary on 1st May by Andrew Brace.

Daxlore Dazimae owned by Gloria Cook and Alan Burtenshaw gained her 49th Best of Breed at Seaham and District Canine Show on 1st May and went on to win the Hound Group.

On 2nd May she won her 50th Best of Breed and Hound Group 3 at Hartlepool under Trevor Jepson .

Daxlore Bashra at Shamilah was awarded Ist and Excellent in the Saluki Junior dog class and Best Junior at Chateauroux International Show on Saturday 24th April by Judge, M Klein of France, and awarded Best Junior in Group and Best Junior in Show 3 by M. Hermel (France).

UK and French Ch Aziz Qesas Daxlore, Best of Breed CACIB and CAC, Limoges, 10th April.

Following confirmation from the Societe Centrale Canine, Jaana is now a French Champion.

At Limoges Int Show on 10th April, Daxlore Taraman was the only Saluki puppy. The judge, Madame MJ Beletout,who awarded him Very Promising, said of him in her report.

"An excellent subject with magificent head and beautiful expression, well placed and well feathered ears. Excellent forequarters, good rear angulation. Moved well coming and going with good side action".

Daxlore Bashra at Shamilah, owned by Isabelle Aubouer, was Best Saluki Junior and Junior Group 4 winer at Limoges International Ch Show, France on 10th April.

Judge Madame M-J Beletout said of him in her report:

"Magnificent subject, of required breed type. Good neck with an excellent head and pigmentation. Well made feet with excellent angulation of limbs. Attractive colouring, moved well coming and going and good side action".

The judge, Mrs Carmen Gil Polo (Spain) graded him as Excellent and in her report said of him:

"Good type with good head and topline, excellent front and rear angulations and good movement".

At Caldas da Rainha, Portugal on March 28th, Daxlore Danarius, owned by Ricardo Oliveira, was presented for the first time in a Junior Class at the age of 11 months. He was assessed as Excellent by judge Mrs Carmen Gil Polo of Spain, who awarded him 1st Junior Saluki and Best of Breed and later Group 2. Danarius was also shortlisted for Best Male Junior in Show.

Mrs Polo reported that Danarius was of "good type with good head and top line, excellent front and rear angulations and good movement".
