Daxlore D'Elyxir

Daxlore D'Elyxir, owned by Dorine Dulain, was awarded the following at La Roche Sur Yon on 12th September:

• Excellent, Best Juinior and Best of Breed Saluki
• Best Saluki Junior, Group 10
• Best Junior in Show 5
• Best in Group 3.

Saluki breed judge, Mme Desserne, wrote in her report:
"Very attractive subject, beautiful head and expression and beautiful eyes.Good jaw, good shoulder and angulation, excellent chest for her age, excellent length of loin,attractive, distinguished gait, a little wide in rear".

Daxlore Bisou of Shaybani

Daxlore Bisou of Shaybani, owned by Elaine Sydney, was awarded First Junior Bitch at Birmingham Championship Show by Mrs Denise Courtney on 4th September.

Bisou also won Junior Saluki Bitch at Leeds Championship Show on 25th July under judge Brian Henry, whose report stated:"Lightly built grizzle. Beautiful head and excellent furnishings, bladed bone and best of feet. Excels in many department, giving smooth flowing movement with extension and power of hind action; width between shoulders and pin bones correct."

Daxlore Bashra at Shamilah

Daxlore Bashra at Shamilah, owned by Isabelle Aubouer, was awarded Ist, Exc, RCAC and RCACIB at Macon International Show on 4th September by judge Mme Larive (France) at the age of just 16 months.

The judge said of him:
"Excellent type and expression. Very attractive head. Complete dentition. Excellent eye and ears. Excellent overall construction. Excellent bone and angulation and excellent composure. Very good tail, well set and with very good length. Excellent style and superb movement. Excellent presentation".

Estoril International, 22nd August

Daxlore Danarius was awarded Excellent, Best Junior Saluki and Best Opposite Sex by Paola Watten (Italy) at Estoril International Show on 22n August.

Estorial National Show 21st August

Daxlore Yanis, owned by Ricardo Oliveira, was awarded his sixth CAC and Best Opposite Sex by Jonathan Horswell (UK) at Estorial National Show on 21st August.

Estoril Specialty 20th August/Estoril International 22nd August

Daxlore Danarius, owned by Ricardo Oliveira and handled by Ana Sousa, was awarded Excellent and Best Junior Saluki at Estoril Specialty on 20th August by Mr Luis Catalan (Portugal).

Daxlore Delphi aged 15 months, owned by Christine Lessard in Canada, has achieved the following successes:

Kilbride and District Kennel (Eastern Regional Specialty), Milton, Ontario 6-8th August, First and winner of the Saluki 12-18 months class.

Ottawa Kennel Club, Richmond Ontario 28-30th May First and winner Saluki12-15 months.

Club Canin Hochelaga, Montreal, Quebec 22-24th May First and Reserve 12-15 months Saluki

Club Canin Rive Sud de Montreal 30th April First and Reserve 12-15 months Saluki

Champlain Dog Club, Petawawa, Ontario, 9-11 April, Winners 1/Best Puppy in Breed.

Christine's daughter, Maude, has also achieved success in Junior Handling competitions, being placed first, third and fifth at different shows.
