Crufts 2012

Daxlore Carima and her daughter Daxlore Gemima (aged 12 months), aunt and cousin of Ch Jorjengo Mirzam of Fernlark, Crufts BOB and Group 3 winner 2012.

We are delighted that Jorjengo Mirzam of Fernlark bred by Tony Quick and owned by Sheryl Steer, John and Lorraine Fitzgerald and Luke Johnston was awarded the CC and BOB by Marie Bryce-Smith, thus giving him his champion title (subject to KC confirmation), and Group 3 by Keith Thornton.

Jorjenjo's mother is Daxlore Calisha (sister to Daxlore Carima pictured above) and his paternal grandfather, Daxlore Eron of Fernlark.

Ch Daxlore Emir of Fernlark was awarded fourth in the Veteran dog class and Daxlore Daisimae fourth in Veteran Bitch. Daisimae also won the Good Citizens class and her sister Daxlore Dazijane at Daandazi was placed third.

Daxlore Gucci

Daxlore Gucci, aged 11 months, owned by Francesca Zampini and handled by Patrizio Palliani, was awarded 1st Exc Best Junior Saluki at Milan International Show on 15th January.

Daxlore Bashra at Shamilah

Daxlore Bashra at Shamilah, owned by Isabelle Aubouer, was awarded Ist (Excellent) Open Saluki Dog and CAC on 15th January 2012 by Mrs Alenka Pokorn of Slovenia at Ljubliana International Show.

Mrs Pokorn said of Bashra: "2 1/2 year old with nice head and expression, good pigmentation, good neck, correct front and rear angulation. Excellent tail set, correct movement coming and going and when viewed from the side".

Daxlore Gabriella

Daxlore Gabriella, owned by Sophie Jarry, was awarded First Excellent Saluki Bitch and Best Junior at Bordeaux International Show on 15th January by Mrs Cathy Delmar of Ireland who said of her: "On the move very elegant, absolutely correct movement, nice head, lay back of shoulder. Very, very nice"

Daxlore Daania at Daandazi

Daxlore Daania at Daandazi, owned by Alan Burtenshaw and Gloria Cook, was awarded Best of Breed Saluki at Spennymoor Canine Society by Mrs Smalley on 15th January 2012.

Daxlore Gabriella , owned by Sophy Jarry, was awarded Exc 1st Junior, Best Junior Saluki at Nantes Show by all-rounder Mr. Barenne.

Rouen Internarional Show

At Rouen International on 4th December Daxlore Gabriella owned by Sophy Jarry was awarded Ist junior Bitch, Best Junior in Breed and Best in Group Junior 3. The breed judge, Mr Dupas (Fr) said of Gabriella:

"Very pretty and feminine exhibit, excellent type and head, expression and ears, well proportioned body, excellent feet and width of thigh, well set tail, movement very fluid and elegant".

Daxlore Bashra at Shamilah, owned by Isabelel Aubouer, was placed second in Open Dog.
Mr Dupas said of him:
"Handsome specimen, very good type, masculine head without coarseness, well set ears, very good neck and shoulder, excellent back, rear and chest, good thighs, good length of tail, nice feet , very good movement".
